“Change the water every week or two. Clean water keeps it green.”

  1. 01

    Light

Bright shade. Direct sun turns the leaves yellow.
  2. 02

    Water

Keep the roots covered with water. Change it every 1 to 2 weeks. Rainwater, filtered water or tap water left out overnight is best.
  3. 03

    Soil & pot

None needed: water with pebbles is enough. It also grows in ordinary potting soil.
  4. 04

    Feeding

One drop of liquid fertiliser in the water every 2 months. More than that yellows it.

    What you'll need

    • Coloured stones or pebbles

All available here at the nursery.

Something wrong?

  • Yellow leaves

Too much sun, too much fertiliser, or old water. Move it into shade and change the water.

  • A yellow or soft stalk

That stalk is rotting. Take it out so it doesn't spread to the others.

  • Smelly water or green slime

Wash the vase and pebbles and put in fresh water.
