    What you'll need

    • Perlite
    • Coco chips
    • Neem insect killer

All available here at the nursery.

Something wrong?

  • An old leaf dies as a new one opens

Normal. Many alocasias keep only a few leaves at a time.

  • It loses all its leaves

It may be resting after a shock. Keep the soil barely moist and wait: new leaves grow from the bulb.

  • Pale speckles and fine webbing

Spider mites. Wipe both sides of the leaves and spray with diluted neem oil every week until clear.
